Keep on Track During the Holidays: Raw Organic Blueberry Smoothie!

Once Halloween is over, and as some of us begin to trudge out of our sugar stupors, the realization hits:  

The Holidays.  

 

Preparation and organization are key when readying to delve in, as well as, of course, maintaining

your personal luminous intention for the season.

When facing the onslaught of all the delicious Holiday fare, one tip I have is to commit to doing your breakfast right!  This means starting the day with something healthy.  

For me, it's normally a berry-based protein smoothie.

This was my breakfast today: a raw organic blueberry smoothie with a dash of himalayan salt for some minerals!  

In a blender, combine:

  • 1.5 cups of raw almond milk (can use organic coconut or almond milk)
  • 1 cup blueberries (can use organic frozen if fresh not available)
  • 1 banana
  • 1 scoop raw protein powder of your choice
  • dash of himalayan salt

Breakfast is one of the easier meals to control during the holidays.  So start preparing now and stock your fridge, pantry and freezer with:  coconut or almond milk, vegan protein powders, frozen, organic blueberries, strawberries, and bananas.  To really ramp up this smoothie, you add handfuls of fresh spinach or other greens!
