Organic Guava Ginseng Lime Iced Tea
I've been totally addicted to these organic guava ginseng lime iced teas! Anybody out there remember that nostalgic drive inn drink, "green river?" Well, this is the healthy version!
So here's how you make it!
-brew one cup of organic guava tea & one cup of organic ginseng tea & allow to cool
-add the juice of 1 large lime or 2 small ones
-add organic stevia to taste (you can also use raw honey or raw agave)
-add ice and stir well
-add 1/2 teaspoon - 1 teaspoon of organic chlorophyll
Some notes: for those of you who don't like the taste of stevia, make sure you are using organic stevia. If you are, still give this a try. Stevia tastes best when used to sweeten smoothies, iced teas, fruit-based drinks. Also make sure the tea is cooled before adding the lime juice and chlorophyll. This will preserve the live enzymes in the lime and keep the integrity of the chlorophyll.
