Plan Your Work / Work Your Plan
Plan your work. And work your plan.
We are on the brink of a new calendar year.
I am in the midst of planning.
Preparing to WORK that plan in the new year.
You don't have to wait for a new year to make changes in your life.
Especially if it's a simple change.
Drink more water.
Take a short walk every day.
Simple, singular things like that.
Most of the time, those kinds of changes take very little planning and can be implemented quickly, with little thought.
But when you're aiming for more complex changes that involve several moving parts...
Such as taking on new responsibilities at home or work AND learning new skills.
Then it's better to FORMULATE a plan.
Take time to do some high level thinking and mapping and scheduling.
Reduce the friction for implementing your plan.
For me, that presently involves formatting a hard copy of my schedule each day, from the time I get up to the time I go to bed.
And then will come WORKING the plan.
It takes both.
PLAN your work. Then WORK your plan.
