Hamming it up at the GRAMMY® Awards

Hamming it up at the GRAMMY® Awards

We used to go by the name Makena (pronounced mah-KEH-nah) when we did music.  It’s a Hawaiian word that has the literal meaning of ‘abundance.’

Our homemade recordings caught the attention of a Grammy-winning indy label and we agreed to have them take some of those recordings and release them as our first ‘real’ album.  That album was called Makena and was released in 2007.

These days, we simply go by the name "Siena & Toast."

They say love won't leave you behind
So I know love will surely find me
