In this episode, it got pretty energetic and intense as we talked about Making Decisions.

Have you ever paced the floor, grappling with a decision to be made?

Well, we put our heads and hearts together and came up with four great reminders to help steady the ship, even if you’ve been tossed around, trying to Make A Decision.

Here we go.

1. Making firm decisions is crucial to living and fulfilling YOUR life (not someone else’s)

Making a decision that feels good means knowing what you want.

In order to know that, you need to be in touch with your inner self.

Can you sense what your higher self is drawn to, what’s calling to you, what lights you up?

…what do you want?

What truly feels right to your higher self?

Make time in your schedule for being quiet, to purify the lines of connection, so you can sense this inner voice. (More on this in #3 and #4.)

2. You always get additional chances to make more decisions…so don’t obsess about making “the right” decision every time

Life is perfect for process.

Life goes on.

You’ll definitely have opportunities to make additional decisions.

For example, have you ever taken a wrong turn 🚧 or wrong exit?

You still managed to get to your destination, right?

Because: you had the chance to make more decisions after that.

You’re not a tree 🌲 or a rock, forced to just sit there!

You have the dignity of being able to choose, and act.

So take action: make a decision, and keep paying attention.

Make more decisions.

3. Don’t just passively wait for lightning to strike and reveal your path; you are the lightning. So strike! And your path will be lit by your decision

Step out!

Step out with trust in your inner voice.

And then (this is crucial, too) stay in touch with your inner voice, so you can get continued guidance, all along the way.

4. It’s not all up to you. make room for god to be the mover that is making stuff happen , through you, and as you

This one is about Getting Over Ourselves.

Can we manage to be aware of the hopes and dreams in our soul…

…without the ego messing it up by making us frustrated, and anxious, and worried about them?

Can we allow the source of these dreams (God, the Life Force) to also provide the means and guidance needed for their fulfillment?

Think about it this:

You became aware of what ‘your’ dreams and desires were.

You noticed them.

But they were already there, placed there by God, to be noticed by you.

You didn’t create the desire.

You just had to notice and acknowledge the sensation of the desire.

In the same way, we can become aware of, and notice, the next step, the next move, in fulfilling these dreams.

This requires you to sense the still small voice within.

Really, so much of it comes down to that.

The value of solitude, meditation, journaling and other soul care practices, is that it clears the lines of communication with your higher Self.

Our connection to God The Source is our lifeline.

Take a deep breath.

And enjoy the power you have to Make Decisions in a way that feels great!

Here’s a recap of the four reassuring things to remember about making decisions

  1. Live and fulfill YOUR life: make your own decisions.

  2. Life is a process. Don’t obsess about getting it ‘right,’ just keep paying attention and acting accordingly.

  3. You are the lightning strike that you’re waiting for! Decide! And The light on your path will follow.

  4. It’s not all up to you. Make room for God.
