Hamming it up at the GRAMMY® Awards
We create acoustic-based music and have written, performed, and recorded – mostly live recordings – since 2001.
Three songs that we co-wrote were chosen for inclusion in the world’s first musical based on the ‘ukulele. Called Pineapple Mango: Hawaiian ʻOhana, it received a very positive response at its sold-out debut in Santa Monica, in late 2019.
This musical was a project of six-time GRAMMY winning composer, producer, and recording artist Daniel Ho, who we’ve had the honor of writing and recording with over the years, on four of his albums.
During the pandemic quarantine of 2020, we tried our hand at producing ourselves, with our first multi-track recording of an original song called “Welcome to The Fall.”
In 2021, we’re enjoying getting back to our childhood roots, and arranging songs on the ‘ukulele. It’s such an egalitarian instrument, and during these times of high drama and high stakes, we have a renewed appreciation for its comforting aspects: easy-to-learn, easy to sing along with, affordable, and unassuming.
