108 Life Is Not On Hold

In the early days of the pandemic in America, self-quarantining, social distancing, and lockdowns were portrayed as a "pause.”

In this episode, we discuss how we are reckoning with the fact that in reality, there never was, nor will there ever be, a "pause," at least when it comes to life.

What life looks like and feels like, is in fact, life, not a pausing of it.

We've discerned some profound gifts offered to us, through the situation we all find ourselves in.

It includes:

  • reckoning more seriously with what is important to us, learning more deeply what makes life worthy of being lived, worthy of showing up for

  • becoming more flexible and open-hearted to what life has for us

  • facing the fact that our individual life is so fleeting and fragile, and can be irrevocably lost with little warning

  • apprehending the reality that each of us is just one brief mote in the incredibly mysterious phenomenon of life on Earth and in the universe

  • the chance to love and be loved is the greatest opportunity of your life
