152 How to Form a New Habit: Habit Bundling

It can be hard to form new, healthy habits.

Kitten Bundling

The good news is: you can probably take a habit you already have, to help form that new one!

This episode is heavy on the cat content. Lots of using our cat Bear in the examples we give.

The topics in this episode include

  • How we’re trying to make Christmas shopping less stressful and more easy
when it comes around

  • Brazil nuts are a good source of selenium, which is important to support thyroid health

  • Toast dreams of breakfast

  • Back when all (most) pet cats were outdoor (or indoor/outdoor) cats

  • The ridiculousness produced by this economy: it pushes us to take things that occur naturally and for free (eg: cat’s claws being trimmed by scratching on trees and walking on rocks, etc.) and turn them into something we need to buy and pay for (eg: nail clippers for cats)

  • Brushing a cat’s teeth!

  • Having “Three Gratitudes” at the end of the day

  • If you haven’t been able to stick to a new habit, maybe you just don’t care enough. And that can be ok!

  • Raisin face vs. Grape face
